Your tasks

As a Financial Controller - Analysis & Reporting (Temporary Assignment) in Fribourg, you will prepare clear financial analysis and reporting for the Accounting & Finance department within the Life Science industry. You will help provide reliable information that supports informed business decisions during this temporary assignment.

Description

• Support the Controlling team in day-to-day financial analysis and reporting activities.
• Extract, validate and analyze financial data from SAP R/3 and existing reporting systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness and consistency through quality checks and reconciliations.
• Perform variance analyses, including root cause analysis and identification of key financial drivers.
• Analyze existing financial reports to identify trends, deviations and inconsistencies.
• Prepare clear, concise and management-ready PowerPoint presentations.
• Support monthly reporting, forecasting and planning activities as required.

Requirements

A successful 'Financial Controller - Analysis & Reporting (Temporary Assignment)' should have:

• Approximately 5 years of experience in Controlling, Finance or Financial Reporting.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in SAP R/3 and advanced MS Excel; Power BI knowledge is an advantage.
• Good PowerPoint skills.
• Solid understanding of financial and accounting data.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a structured and systematic working approach.
• Accurate, reliable and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Ability to work independently, integrate quickly into an existing team and deliver high-quality results with minimal supervision.
• Fluent English is required; German language skills are an advantage.
