Description
Maternity leave cover FTC
- Manage stock levels to meet customer demand while minimising excess inventory.
- Analyse sales data to forecast trends and make informed purchasing decisions.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Monitor and report on product performance and profitability.
- Collaborate with the buying team to plan product ranges.
- Support promotional planning by providing insights and stock availability updates.
- Oversee pricing strategies to maximise revenue and maintain competitiveness.
- Ensure accurate stock records and resolve discrepancies where needed.
Profile
A successful Senior Merchandiser should have:
- Proven experience in a merchandising or stock management role within retail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence in working with suppliers and negotiating terms.
- Proficiency with relevant merchandising systems and software.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
Job Offer
- Salary ranging from £60,000 to £65,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Potential for extension of the fixed-term contract.
