National Account Manager - Ontrade

Description My client is looking for a commercially driven National Account Manager to join their growing commercial team. Reporting directly to the Head of Ontrade, this is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Key Account Manager, Junior National Account Manager or commercially-minded Business Development Manager to step into a high-profile role managing pub group customers across the UK.
This role will play a key part in driving growth across a portfolio of established managed pub groups, regional operators and Travel Retail customers, whilst identifying new business opportunities and strengthening customer partnerships.
You will: Build and maintain strong relationships with on-trade accounts to drive sales and customer satisfaction. Develop and execute account strategies to meet commercial objectives. Analyse sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions for key clients. Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure profitability and mutual benefit. Monitor account performance and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Identify and resolve challenges affecting account relationships or sales. Represent the company at industry events and meetings as required. Profile A successful National Account Manager - Ontrade should have: Experience in account management within the FMCG sector. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. The ability to analyse data and identify actionable insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills. A strategic mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets.
