Your tasks
An excellent opportunity for a Paralegal to join the Private Funds team of a top-tier US law firm in London. You'll gain hands-on exposure across fund formation, closings, investments and regulatory matters.
Description The Private Funds Paralegal will support the team across the full lifecycle of private investment funds, including:
- Assisting with private fund formation, closings, investments and transactions
- Drafting and reviewing fund formation and subscription documents
- Assisting with private placement memoranda and related documentation
- Supporting regulatory matters, including AIFMD and UK and EU requirements
- Managing closing checklists, signatures and document execution
- Liaising with clients, investors and external service providers
- Conducting legal and regulatory research
- Maintaining fund documentation, trackers and electronic files
- Providing wider transactional and administrative support to the team
Requirements
The successful candidate will be degree educated with excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills. You will be highly detail-oriented, resilient and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills are essential, alongside the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous legal or Private Funds experience would be advantageous.
