The organisation has extensive trading activities spanning physical and financial commodities, including energy, metals and minerals. With a strong presence in Singapore, the business offers an opportunity to join a dynamic trading environment, working closely with front-office teams and regional stakeholders.

Your tasks

• Join a Leading Global Commodities Trading Group with Strong Market Presence
• Drive Market Risk, P&L and Trading Exposure Management Across Metals Markets

• Monitor daily trading positions, market risk exposures and P&L attribution across metals trading portfolios, ensuring accurate and timely risk reporting.
• Oversee trade capture, pricing and valuation curves, and mark-to-market calculations to ensure accurate representation of trading positions.
• Monitor trading activities against approved risk limits, identifying and escalating potential breaches, valuation discrepancies and unusual exposures.
• Collaborate with traders, IT and Risk Management teams to enhance ETRM/CTRM systems, improve risk reporting processes and support new trading products and strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of market risk experience within the commodities trading industry, with metals trading exposure considered a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of physical commodities and derivatives trading, including trading positions, hedging activities and associated market risks.
• Hands-on ETRM/CTRM system experience, including trade capture, risk reporting, system configuration or enhancements.
• Strong knowledge of P&L attribution, position and exposure monitoring, pricing curves, valuation methodologies and trading risk limits.
