Job Description
- Develop and optimise machine learning platforms to support business requirements.
- Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of machine learning systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to integrate machine learning models into production systems.
- Design and implement workflows for data processing and model deployment.
- Monitor and troubleshoot platform performance to ensure operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in machine learning technologies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members on platform-related issues.
- Document processes and best practices for the use and maintenance of the platform.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Machine Learning Platform Engineer should have:
- Strong technical expertise in machine learning frameworks and tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in machine learning, such as Python or Java.
- Proven experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs)
- DevOps & Containers: Proficient with Docker for containerization and working knowledge of Kubernetes (k8s) for orchestration
- Experience with data engineering and model deployment in production environments.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
