Job Description

Reporting to the Tax Director, you will:

  • Manage corporate tax compliance activities across the United States, Mexico and Brazil, ensuring timely and accurate filing obligations are met.
  • Coordinate closely with external tax agents and advisors on federal, state and local tax matters across the Americas region.
  • Review tax returns, tax provisions and supporting schedules prepared by external service providers.
  • Provide tax advisory support on commercial transactions, intercompany arrangements, business initiatives and cross-border activities.
  • Support tax audits, investigations and enquiries raised by tax authorities, working with local advisors to manage risk and resolution.
  • Assist with transfer pricing matters, withholding taxes, tax treaty considerations and cross-border cash flows.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess the impact of new developments on business operations.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, Treasury and commercial stakeholders to ensure tax considerations are incorporated into business decisions.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Accountancy, Taxation, Finance or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of tax experience gained within Big 4, tax advisory firms and multinational corporations.
  • Experience managing regional/US tax matters, including exposure to federal and state tax requirements, is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of corporate income tax, tax compliance processes and cross-border transactions.
  • Comfortable working with external advisors and coordinating tax matters across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.
