Your tasks

As a Treasury Accountant, you will manage treasury accounting activity within the Not For Profit sector, helping the finance function maintain clear and accurate records. You will work closely with the Accounting & Finance team to keep day-to-day financial information organised and reliable.

Description

• Maintain accurate treasury accounting records to support clear financial reporting.
• Assist with cash forecasting and day to day liquid management.
• Process and review treasury-related transactions, ensuring information is recorded correctly.
• Reconcile relevant balance sheet accounts and investigate any differences promptly.
• Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for finance reporting activities.
• Work with colleagues in Accounting & Finance to resolve transaction queries.
• Keep treasury records up to date, organised and easy to review.
• Help improve the consistency and accuracy of treasury accounting processes.

Requirements

A successful 'Treasury Accountant' should have

• Experience in treasury accounting and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Strong reconciliation skills and the ability to investigate variances.
• Confidence processing financial transactions and maintaining supporting documentation.
• Good understanding of balance sheet accounts and financial reporting requirements.
• Ability to manage detailed information accurately and meet agreed deadlines.
• Clear communication skills when working with finance colleagues on queries.

What we offer

Job Offer

• Hybrid role with 2-3 days working from home
• Salary of £55,000 to £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
