Description
The Trainee Accounts Payable will;
- Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Assist in preparing payment runs and managing payment schedules.
- Liaise with suppliers to address any invoice or payment queries.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the accounts payable team.
Profile
A successful Trainee Accounts Payable should have:
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and processes.
- An organised approach to managing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Good communication skills, especially when dealing with suppliers.
