Your tasks

As a Tax Accountant in Poole, you will manage tax-focused accounting work for a Not For Profit organisation, helping keep financial information clear and well organised. You will work within the Tax department and provide accurate reporting that supports the day-to-day running of the business.

Description

• Prepare accurate tax-related accounting information to support clear financial records.
• Maintain organised documentation for tax accounting activities and reporting.
• Review financial data to identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely way.
• Produce tax accounting reports that give colleagues clear and reliable information.
• Work with relevant teams to gather information needed for tax-related accounting tasks.
• Keep accounting records up to date, ensuring information is complete and easy to access.
• Apply consistent checks to tax accounting work to maintain accuracy.
• Support the smooth delivery of work across the Tax department.

Requirements

A successful Tax Accountant should have

• Experience in tax accounting and preparing accurate financial information.
• Strong ability to review and reconcile financial data.
• Confidence producing clear tax-related reports and documentation.
• Good knowledge of accounting processes relevant to tax work.
• Ability to organise competing tax accounting tasks and meet deadlines.
• Careful attention to detail when handling financial records.

• Salary of £50,000 to £59,000, dependent on the level of experience.
