As a Specialist in Accounting Operations, you'll be at the heart of ensuring smooth financial processes within the FMCG industry in London. You'll manage key accounting tasks, helping the business stay on top of its financial obligations and supporting accurate reporting. Partner with the Assistant Financial Controller to resolve escalations, support accounting operations, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Coordinate financial activities across multiple teams, driving accountability for service quality, controls, and financial outcomes. Support core finance processes including Record-to-Report (R2R), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (OTC), and Account-to-Report (A2R). Act as a key finance contact, building strong stakeholder relationships and providing guidance on accounting and control matters. Manage relationships with outsourced accounting providers, ensuring high-quality service delivery and operational performance. Drive process improvements, strengthen controls, enhance reporting accuracy, and improve operational efficiency. Support audit, tax, statutory reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial control activities. Lead the resolution of accounting issues, exceptions, and complex transactions through established governance processes. Maintain a robust financial control environment, ensuring compliance and reporting integrity. Contribute to transformation initiatives, share best practices, and support continuous improvement across finance operations.

Profile A successful Specialist in Accounting Operations should have: A solid foundation in accounting principles and financial processes. Experience with accounting software and tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Ability to work collaboratively across teams. Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations. Job Offer Salary ranging from £45,000 to £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
