Description
The Senior Accounts Payable will;
- Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage payment runs and ensure all payments are correctly allocated.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Handle supplier queries and liaise with relevant teams to resolve issues.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
- Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation.
- Work closely with the finance team to improve processes and efficiency.
Profile
A successful Senior Accounts Payable should have:
- AAT qualification or studying towards
- Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
- An understanding of basic accounting principles.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Job Offer
- Salary between £30,000 and £35,000, dependent on the level of experience.
