Client Details Our client is based in Poole, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects, the Payroll team is looking for additional support.
Your tasks
As a Payroll professional in Poole, you will manage day-to-day payroll tasks, helping the Accounting & Finance department keep employee payments organised and accurate. You will work closely with colleagues to maintain clear records and support smooth payroll delivery.
Description
- Process regular payroll information accurately to help ensure employees are paid correctly and on time.
- Maintain payroll records and update employee details to keep information clear and current.
- Check payroll data before processing and resolve straightforward discrepancies where needed.
- Prepare payroll reports and information for the Accounting & Finance department.
- Respond to payroll queries in a helpful and timely manner.
- Work with colleagues to gather the information needed for each payroll cycle.
- Keep payroll documentation organised and easy to access.
Requirements
A successful Payroller should have
- Experience of processing payroll accurately.
- Confidence maintaining payroll records and employee information.
- Ability to check data carefully and identify discrepancies.
- Experience preparing payroll reports and related documentation.
- Ability to handle payroll queries clearly and professionally.
- Good organisation when managing regular payroll deadlines.
What we offer
Job Offer
- Permanent Payroll position based in Poole.
- Salary of £28,000 to £30,000 dependent on the level of experience.
- Hybrid working.
