Client Accountant

As a Client Accountant in Swindon, you will be responsible for the management of client relationships, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of all reporting and recording of accounting transactions, of diverse property client portfolios.

Our client is based in central Swindon and has a growing finance team. They are currently looking for a Client Accountant to join them on a permanent basis

Description

The Client Accountant will be repsonsible for;

• Maintaining accurate accounting records for a portfolio of client accounts.
• Preparing regular financial information and reports for clients and internal use.
• Managing client funds.
• Processing account transactions promptly and ensure supporting records are complete.
• Reviewing account balances and resolve routine queries to keep records up to date.
• Reconciling financial information and investigate any differences found.
• Working with colleagues in Accounting & Finance to ensure client information is clear and reliable.
• Responding to client accounting queries with accurate and timely information.

Profile

A successful Client Accountant should have:

• Experience of managing client accounting records.
• Ability to prepare accurate financial reports and account information.
• Confidence processing financial transactions and maintaining supporting documentation.
• Experience of reconciling account balances and resolving discrepancies.
• Good understanding of routine accounting processes within an Accounting & Finance setting.
• Ability to handle client queries clearly and professionally

Successful applicants will also need to be studying AAT, CIMA or ACCA

Job Offer

• Permanent Client Accountant role based in Swindon.
• Salary of £27,000 to £35,000 + study support, dependent on the level of experience.
