Your tasks
As an Audit Associate in Southampton, you will work within the Accounting & Finance department, helping to complete audit work accurately for a Professional Services organisation. You will keep audit tasks organised and clear, helping the wider business deliver reliable work for its clients.
Description
- Complete audit work in line with agreed plans, keeping records accurate and well organised.
- Review financial information and supporting documents to identify clear audit evidence.
- Prepare working papers that show the work completed and support audit findings.
- Follow audit procedures carefully to help maintain consistent, reliable outputs.
- Raise queries where information is missing or unclear, helping work progress smoothly.
- Keep audit files up to date so information is easy to review and use.
- Work with colleagues to meet agreed deadlines and deliver planned audit activities.
- Communicate audit findings clearly through accurate notes and documentation.
Requirements
A successful 'Audit Associate' should have
- Experience completing audit work and preparing clear supporting documentation.
- Ability to review financial information with care and attention to detail.
- Confidence in maintaining accurate records and well-structured working papers.
- Ability to follow agreed audit procedures and manage tasks to deadline.
