Description
- Process and monitor incoming payments to ensure accurate recording in the system.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Generate and distribute invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Follow up with customers regarding overdue payments and payment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist in preparing financial reports related to receivables.
- Work closely with other departments to address billing queries.
- Support the accounting team with ad hoc tasks as needed.
Profile
A successful Accounts Receivable Assistant should have:
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Good communication skills to liaise with customers and internal teams.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and resolving discrepancies.
Job Offer
- Hourly rate between £12.00 to £14.00, dependent on the level of experience.
