Your tasks

As a Welder Fabricator in Coventry, you'll play a key role in shaping and assembling metal components to meet production needs. Your hands-on expertise will help ensure the efficient and accurate delivery of high-quality products in the industrial and manufacturing sector.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Fabrication & Assembly: Read and interpret engineering drawings to accurately mark out, cut (using plasma/saws), tack, and assemble metal components.
• Welding Operations: Perform high-quality MIG and/or TIG welding on various materials (mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium) across varied gauges.
• Finishing: Dress, grind, and clean welds to ensure smooth finishes ready for powder coating, painting, or assembly.
• Quality & Compliance: Inspect completed fabrications for dimensional accuracy, squareness, and weld integrity (visual inspection).

Requirements

A successful Welder Fabricator should have

• Proven skills in welding and metal fabrication, with attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience in using relevant tools and machinery, such as welders and grinders.
• A strong understanding of health and safety practices in an industrial environment.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.

• Hourly rate of £17.11
• 6am - 2pm (£25 shift allowance per week)
