Site Administrator
As a Site Administrator in Manchester, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. From managing essential administrative tasks to supporting the team, your efforts will help keep everything on track. Client Details A company based in Manchester operating within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry. Description Provide comprehensive administrative support across all site functions, including Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Health & Safety, and other operational departments. Coordinate and manage all site visits, including customer visits, supplier meetings, and internal/external audits. Communicate site-wide updates and key messages promptly through various channels, including email, digital display screens, and notice boards. Organise and support a range of management forums and events, including Senior Leadership Team (SLT) meetings, Site Town Halls, and other business meetings. Manage the provision of stationery, office supplies, and equipment required by site management teams. Maintain and regularly update site notice boards to ensure information remains current, accurate, and engaging. Coordinate employee recognition activities, including long-service award presentations, catering arrangements, and site celebrations where appropriate. Raise and process purchase orders using SAP, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with company procedures. Collate, analyse, and present qualitative and quantitative data to support management reporting and business decision-making. Maintain document control processes, ensuring Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other controlled documents are accurately updated and managed within designated systems. Ensure Health & Safety Data Sheets are maintained, accurate, and distributed as required. Support the effective communication of Manufacturing KPIs, Health & Safety updates, Quality messages, and departmental information across the site through notice boards, line-side communications, and other engagement channels. Undertake additional administrative duties as required to support the smooth and efficient operation of the site. Profile A successful Site Administrator should have: Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Experience in administrative roles, ideally within the FMCG industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Consistently follows site Health & Safety procedures by correctly using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear required for each task, including safety footwear, eye protection, hearing protection, and other protective equipment as necessary. Promptly report all incidents, near misses, injuries, and environmental incidents to the relevant line manager, ensuring accurate recording and compliance with site Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures. Ability to conduct the sites testing methodologies. Job Offer Salary of £30,000 per annum. 6-month Fixed-term contract position with a base in Manchester.
