Client Details The organisation operates in the Consumer Lending space in London.

Your tasks

As an FPnA Senior Manager (senior manager level equivalent) in London, you will lead financial planning and analysis for a SME Consumer Loans FinTech house, giving clear insight that helps the business make informed decisions. You will work closely with the FD and wider finance function to keep planning, reporting and performance analysis well organised. You will have 5 directs.

_SME Consumer Loans FinTech_

• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing clear plans for financial performance.
• Manage 5 direct reports, some locally some located internationally.
• Prepare regular financial reports that show results, trends and key performance movements.
• Analyse financial data to identify variances and explain the factors behind them.
• Work with FD and Accounting & Finance colleagues to ensure planning information is accurate and timely.
• Provide financial insight to support business decisions and operational planning.
• Maintain clear reporting schedules and planning documents for internal stakeholders.
• Review performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting areas that need attention.
• Improve financial planning processes to make reporting more efficient and useful.

Requirements

A successful 'FP&A Manager' should have

• Experience in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Ready-to-go knowledge and exposure to Consumer Lending (could be from a retail bank, business bank, FinTech lender, or equivalent).
• Qualified Accountant - ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA.
• Strong ability to analyse financial information and explain key findings clearly.
• Experience producing financial reports and variance analysis.
• Ability to work effectively with FD and Accounting & Finance teams.
• Confidence using financial data to support planning and decision-making.
• Strong organisational skills for managing reporting and planning deadlines.

Job Offer

• Permanent FP&A Manager position (senior manager level equivalent) based in London.
• Salary of £80,000 to £110,000, dependent on the level of experience.
