Michael Naughton is seeking a Carpenter to join a small, hands-on carpentry business based in Cloyne, Co. Cork. This is a good opportunity for someone developing their skills in the trade, working directly alongside an experienced carpenter on a range of residential carpentry and joinery work.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance and supervision of the business owner, carrying out general carpentry and joinery tasks including:

• measuring, cutting and fitting timber to specification,
• assisting with the installation of fixtures such as staircases, doors, and fitted units,
• working from basic plans and instructions,
• and maintaining a safe and tidy work area in line with health and safety requirements.

Some previous experience in carpentry or general construction is desirable but not essential, full guidance and on-the-job training will be provided.

Salary: €36,605 per annum (€18.05 per hour) Hours: 39 hours per week.
