Wanted: Tech Lead: GIS & Full Stack

We are looking for our next Hands-on Leader! If you are an experienced Full Stack developer with a passion for the GIS worlds and a desire to take on broader technological responsibility – your place is with us. The role combines active development with professional leadership, architecture definition, and close work on strategic projects in the municipal and operational sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Technological leadership (Hands-on) of a small development team.
• Planning and performing Code Reviews and implementing quality standards.
• Management and optimization of map servers (GeoServer) and spatial databases.
• Working with Docker, CI/CD, and environment management.
• Translating client needs into technical specifications and creating Design Docs.

Job Requirements

• At least four years of experience as a Team Lead or Senior Developer with a leaning towards leadership.
• Practical experience in GIS Open Source (Mandatory: GeoServer, PostGIS).
• Proficiency in client-side libraries OpenLayers and experience in React.
• Understanding of Linux/Windows server management and Docker infrastructures.

Significant Advantages:

• Familiarity with ESRI worlds (ArcGIS Server/Portal).
• Experience in Node.js / Python / .NET development.
• Background in handling geographic Big Data.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering – Mandatory (Background in GIS/Geography – Advantage).
• High level of English.
