Key Responsibilities
- Support and reinforce the Vision, Culture, and integrity of the organization
- Oversee and own all phases of construction including site evaluation, design review, budgeting, permitting, buildout, and delivery
- Ensure projects meet quality standards, budget expectations, and established timelines
- Conduct regular site visits across all markets to monitor progress and resolve issues
- Coordinate architects, designers, and engineers to keep plans on track
- Review contractor bids, manage RFPs, and select vendors
- Oversee permitting, licensing, and utility setup
- Track schedules, budgets, and material deliveries (including long-lead equipment)
- Ensure builds meet brand standards, safety codes, and quality expectations
- Communicate weekly with operations, real estate, and facilities teams
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, value engineering, and workflow efficiency
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in multi-site commercial construction projects
- Proven experience with fitness centers, gyms, or similar build-outs preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, permitting, budgeting, and vendor oversight
- Proficiency with ProCore or similar project management software
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced growth environment
- Passion for fitness and alignment with CR Fitness’s mission and growth vision
- Willingness to travel regularly across all CR Fitness markets (50%+)
- Willingness to relocate in the future based on the needs of the company and dept
