At the earliest possible date, we are looking for a Technologist (m/f/d) for our Final Assembly department in the Mechanics specialist area.
Your role:
As a Technologist for the Mechanics area you will actively help shape the further development of our manufacturing processes and contribute to making the construction of our ships even more efficient, economical, and future-oriented. You will analyze existing processes, identify optimization potential, and develop innovative solutions for production, equipment, and technical systems. In doing so, you will work closely with the manufacturing areas, technical specialist departments, and IT, and take on a central role in the introduction of new technologies, processes, and standards.
The main focuses of the field of activity are:
- Analysis, further development, and optimization of manufacturing processes as well as their interfaces along the value chain
- Technical contact person for manufacturing areas, Technical Offices, and IT for process- and production-relevant questions
- Planning, specification, and introduction of equipment, automation solutions, and production-related IT systems
- Development and implementation of measures to increase productivity, stabilize processes, and optimize procedures
- Creation and further development of sustainable maintenance and operating concepts
- Management and support of external as well as internal development and design projects for equipment
- Management and coordination of projects for the continuous improvement of production processes
- Analysis and evaluation of key figures as well as implementation of statistical process controls to derive optimization potential
- Moderation of workshops, technical coordination, and training for the successful implementation of new processes and systems
- Participation in interdisciplinary projects as well as technical support for trainees and interns
What you bring to the role:
- Successfully completed training in the fields of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable technical discipline with further training as a state-certified Techniker
- Professional experience in the areas of manufacturing, process, or production optimization, ideally in an industrial environment
- Good written and spoken English skills for cooperation in an international corporate environment
- Technical understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, automation solutions, and production-related IT systems
- Experience in project management as well as in the planning, implementation, and support of technical improvement measures
- Analytical and structured way of working as well as confident handling of key figures and the evaluation of process data
- Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as enjoyment in working with different specialist departments and project teams
