Scheduler for the Strategic Planning Department (m/f/d)

At the earliest possible date, we are looking for a Scheduler (m/f/d) for our Strategic Planning department in the Integrated Planning & Tools unit.

Your role:

As a Scheduler (m/f/d), you will take on a central role in the integrated scheduling of our shipbuilding projects. You will ensure transparent, realistic, and reliable project schedules, thereby creating the foundation for successful project control. In close cooperation with the project teams, specialist planners, and process owners, you will analyze schedule sequences, evaluate the impact of changes, and further develop sustainable planning standards. With your eye for connections and your structured way of working, you will contribute to coordinating complex projects efficiently and leading them to success on schedule.

The main focuses of the area of responsibility are:

• Creation and maintenance of integrated schedules and project plans across all project phases using modern scheduling tools (currently wayPRO)
• Development and optimization of networking logics, precedence relationships, and network diagram standards for complex shipbuilding projects
• Preparation and evaluation of schedule shift and scenario analyses in close coordination with the Progress Control sub-project managers
• Coordination and control of the regular revision and updating of integrated schedules together with the project teams
• Integration and maintenance of schedule shift scenarios within multi-project planning
• Close cooperation with central process owners as well as specialists for development and production planning to ensure consistent scheduling
• Technical advice and control of specialist planners in the strategic planning environment regarding scheduling, networking, and scheduling
• Active participation in the design, further development, and standardization of methods, processes, and standards in the field of scheduling
• Support and technical supervision of trainees and interns in the field of scheduling and scheduling

What you bring with you:

• Completed technical or economic studies, alternatively completed technical vocational training with further training as an Industriemeister, Techniker, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in project management, project planning, or schedule management of complex projects is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken English skills for cooperation in an international project environment
• Confident handling of ERP systems as well as planning tools, especially in the field of schedule and project planning
• Strong understanding of process flows as well as their networking within complex project structures
• Analytical and structured way of working as well as the ability to evaluate schedule deviations and their impacts
• High communication and teamwork skills as well as a confident appearance in cross-departmental cooperation and technical coordination
