The MEYER WERFT Group is an internationally active corporate group. It includes our two shipyard locations in Papenburg and Rostock as well as other subsidiaries. Together with this highly qualified network, we build cruise ships, river cruise ships, and special ships for customers from all over the world, which are tailored exactly to the respective markets and target groups.

As soon as possible, we are looking for an Outfitter (m/f/d) for our Block Production department.

Your Role:

As an Outfitter in Block Production, you ensure that our ship blocks are equipped with the necessary technical systems, machines, and piping systems. You work according to technical drawings, assemble components, and ensure that all components are installed with precision and high quality. Through your manual skills and your careful way of working, you make an important contribution to the construction of our ships.

The main areas of responsibility are:

• Confidently reading and applying drawings, co-plans, piping systems, bills of materials, diagrams, and schedules
• Marking, preparing, and assembling components according to bills of materials and drawing specifications
• Assembly of machines, systems, air conditioning, and equipment groups
• Dimensional and quality-compliant inspection of materials and installations according to plans and standards
• Fitting, tack welding, and preparing pipes and nozzles in decks and walls

• Manufacture and completion of racks, frames, housings, and steel structures
• and installation of equipment and furnishing assemblies in the block, ship, and special space areas
• Working with drilling and milling devices, flame cutting and welding equipment, grinding machines, hydraulic presses, and lifting gear

What you bring with you:

• Completed three-year vocational training as a Konstruktionsmechaniker
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
• Confident handling of technical drawings, bills of materials, and functional schemata
• Routine in assembly, fitting, and connection techniques (e.g., welding, pressing, soldering)
• Dimensional and quality-compliant working in complex production environments
• Cooperative collaboration with colleagues and external partners
