Staff Nurse - Home for the Disabled (Woodland)
Make a Meaningful Impact Through Care & Compassion Metta Home provides long-term residential and day care services for adults aged 18–55 with intellectual disabilities. Our multidisciplinary team works together to support their health, well-being, independence and social integration. As part of our nursing team, you will play an important role in providing quality care and supporting our clients in their daily lives. Your Role & Responsibilities Supervise and provide guidance to Nurse Aides, Health Attendants and other care/support staff.
Oversee and attend to the healthcare and medical needs of clients.
Monitor clients’ well-being and progress, ensuring appropriate standards of care are maintained.
Support and supervise clients during daily activities and mealtimes, where required.
Maintain professional communication with clients’ families/caregivers and collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team.
Provide training and guidance to relevant care staff.
Prepare duty rosters and support the development of care guidelines, where assigned.
Recommend and support programmes that enhance clients’ care and development.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements Diploma/Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) with a valid practising certificate.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant nursing/healthcare experience.
Able to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
Responsible, meticulous and service-oriented with a strong commitment to client care.
Working Hours 🕒 5-day rotating work week, on a 2-shift schedule: AM Shift: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
PM Shift: 1:00 pm – 9:00 pm
