Now Hiring: Fire Alarm Installation Supervisor Location: Miami-Dade & Broward County, Florida Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional after-hours work Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Installation Supervisor to lead field installation crews on commercial and high-rise projects throughout Miami-Dade and Broward County. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience installing and programming addressable fire alarm systems, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with project management teams and local inspectors. We are actively screening candidates this week. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate fire alarm installation crews on commercial and high-rise construction projects. Oversee daily field operations to ensure installations meet project schedules, approved plans, applicable codes, and quality standards. Coordinate with the Project Manager, Project Coordinator, and inspectors regarding scheduling, inspections, project progress, and final closeouts. Oversee hands-on installation, troubleshooting, testing, and programming of addressable fire alarm systems. Support inspection preparation, deficiency corrections, system commissioning, and project documentation. Monitor crew productivity, materials, tools, job-site safety, and workmanship. Assist with resolving field issues and respond to occasional after-hours inspections or emergencies as needed. Required Qualifications Proven experience installing and supervising fire alarm systems on commercial construction projects. Hands-on experience with addressable fire alarm systems, including installation, programming, testing, and troubleshooting. Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lead field crews, communicate professionally, and coordinate multiple project activities. FASA/BASA certification required, or the ability to obtain the required certification within 90 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Gamewell-FCI by Honeywell fire alarm systems. NICET Level II or higher certification in Fire Alarm Systems a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills. Experience working on high-rise buildings and coordinating inspections with local authorities in Miami-Dade and Broward County. Work Schedule Full-time, Monday through Friday. Occasional after-hours work may be required for inspections, testing, emergencies, or project deadlines.
