Main Missions

We are looking for an expert Database Administrator (DBA) specializing in Open Source technologies, with a strong DevOps dimension, to work on critical production environments.

You will be responsible for maintaining the operational readiness of SQL and NoSQL databases, optimizing performance, and industrializing administration operations. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of operational practices and the automation of recurring tasks.

• Ensure the administration, operation, and maintenance in operational condition of production databases.
• Manage incidents, provide technical support, and assist development teams.
• Administer, optimize, and secure PostgreSQL and MySQL/MariaDB environments.
• Perform technical audits, analyze performance, and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Manage backups, restorations, replications, and high availability mechanisms.
• Automate administration tasks and industrialize deployments via Ansible and AWX.
• Participate in improving the monitoring, reliability, and observability of database environments.
• Work on production environments requiring on-call duties and interventions outside of business hours.

Profile Sought

Technical Skills

• PostgreSQL: indispensable expertise in administration, optimization, and operation.
• MySQL / MariaDB: confirmed mastery of production environments.
• Ansible / AWX: indispensable expertise in automation and industrialization.
• DevOps DBA: scripting, automation, and continuous improvement of operational processes.
• Production: confirmed experience in MCO (Maintenance in Operational Condition), support, and incident management.
• You have professional English proficiency.

Soft Skills and Interpersonal Skills

• You are autonomous, rigorous, and capable of handling complex issues.

Experience and Training

• You have at least 10 years of experience in database administration.
• You possess solid experience in critical production environments.
• You have a strong culture of DevOps, automation, and system reliability.
