In this role, you will define the vision for how Meta shows up at flagship events, owned experiences, and cultural moments — spanning augmented and virtual reality showcases, consumer product launches, developer conferences, and partner activations. You will set the strategic direction for a high-performing brand experiences function, partnering across marketing, communications, product, and business teams to create immersive, insight-driven experiences that deepen audience connection to Meta's platforms and technologies.

Head of Global Brand Experiences Responsibilities:

Define and drive the global brand experiences strategy, establishing a multi-year roadmap for how Meta's experiential marketing investments connect to brand and business objectives

Lead the end-to-end development and execution of flagship owned events, major industry conferences, and cultural activations that showcase Meta's products and platforms at scale

Develop frameworks and processes that enable cross-functional teams to rapidly scope, prioritize, and execute experiential programs aligned to shifting business priorities

Partner with product marketing, communications, and creative teams to ensure brand experiences authentically reflect Meta's narrative and product innovation across AR, VR, and social platforms

Build and manage relationships with senior internal stakeholders and external agency, production, and venue partners to deliver integrated, high-impact experiences

Establish measurement standards and reporting frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of experiential investments against brand health, audience engagement, and pipeline metrics

Anticipate disruptions in the global events landscape and build contingency planning processes that maintain program continuity and organizational resilience

Coach and develop team members and cross-functional partners on experiential strategy, creative development, and stakeholder communication

Influence executive decision-making by translating experiential insights and audience data into clear strategic recommendations

Identify emerging formats, technologies, and cultural moments that represent new opportunities for Meta to create differentiated brand experiences

Minimum Qualifications:

12+ years of experience in experiential marketing, brand events, or integrated marketing with a focus on large-scale global programs

12+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs from strategy through execution

Experience developing and owning a global experiential marketing strategy, including budget stewardship, agency management, and executive-level communication

Experience establishing measurement frameworks to evaluate experiential program performance against brand and business outcomes

Experience influencing senior leaders and building lasting cross-functional partnerships to align experiential investments with broader organizational priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

Demonstrated ability to bring clarity and structure to ambiguous, high-visibility programs in fast-moving organizational environments

Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)

Track record of building and scaling an experiential marketing function, including team development, process design, and capability building

Experience integrating digital and in-person experience formats to extend the reach and impact of brand activations across global audiences

Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)

Experience marketing technology products or platforms, including consumer hardware, AR/VR devices, or developer-facing products, through experiential or event-based programs
