Commissioning and Testing Specialist, Data Centers (Helsinki)

We are looking for an experienced commissioning and testing specialist for our client to ensure the functionality of critical electrical systems before the final handover of the systems. You will work in demanding data center and data center environments as part of international project teams, where quality, safety, and operational reliability play a central role.

In this role, you will participate in various stages of the commissioning process, from the planning of system testing to the evaluation and documentation of results. You will evaluate test programs, test scripts, and test results, and participate in investigating deviations and analyzing root causes. Additionally, you will collaborate with contractors, equipment manufacturers, and client representatives to ensure that critical electrical systems meet the requirements set for them before commissioning.

We expect from you

• Strong experience in commissioning, testing, or commissioning tasks
• Good understanding of the L0-L5 commissioning process
• Experience in handling testing and commissioning documentation
• Ability to evaluate test programs, test scripts, and test results
• Experience in analyzing deviations and determining root causes
• Strong expertise in critical power distribution systems, such as MV and LV systems, UPS solutions, backup power systems, transformers, and switchgear
• Understanding of BAS, EPMS, and other automation and monitoring system interfaces
• Experience in integrated system tests (IST)
• An analytical working style and the ability to perform under pressure
• Good documentation and reporting skills
• Fluent English language skills

• Previous experience in data center environments
• Experience in commissioning projects for mission critical, energy, or industrial environments
• Readiness to travel and participate in factory witness tests (FWT)
• Flexibility regarding non-standard working hours if necessary
