These tasks await you

• You will become part of our software development team and work on our innovative logistics solution for hospital pharmacies called Ataxe Web
• You will design, develop, and optimize modern cloud-native applications based on Java 21 and Spring Boot
• You will design and implement future-proof microservice architectures
• You will ensure that our systems meet the highest requirements for availability, scalability, data protection, and cost efficiency
• You will develop and integrate AI-supported functions into existing applications
• You will work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including performance optimization and ensuring data consistency
• You will rely on modern development practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), Refactoring, and Clean Code
• You will work closely with frontend developers as well as interdisciplinary teams

What you bring to the role

• You have sound practical experience in software development with Java 21
• You bring very good knowledge of the Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
• You have experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Refactoring, and Clean Code principles
• You have already gained practical experience in the development of cloud services
• You possess very good knowledge of working with relational and NoSQL databases, especially in the areas of redundancy avoidance, performance optimization, and data consistency
• You have experience in developing distributed systems with a focus on modern cloud requirements
• You are confident in using Docker
• You communicate confidently in English, both spoken and written; German skills are a plus
