MF Computer Operator

Mertens Malam Team is recruiting an MF Computer Operator for a leading organization in the Center region

Job Description: As part of the role, responsibility for testing, monitoring, and tracking processes and tasks on various computing platforms, monitoring systems using control and monitoring tools, handling faults in collaboration with application and infrastructure teams, and documenting and controlling exceptional events in the shift log. Performing system activities including setting up VM servers, backup control using TSM, version upgrades, setting up and handling safes, and server maintenance. Work in morning, afternoon, and night shifts alternately, with potential for shift leadership.

Experience working in a Windows environment – Mandatory Experience in installation and maintenance of servers in a VMware environment and handling system faults in Windows Server – Mandatory Familiarity with IOA products, with an emphasis on Control-M MF and Control-M Open – Mandatory Good level of technical English – Mandatory Familiarity with Z/OS MVS, Tivoli monitoring tools, Linux, Unix, AS400 systems, or experience in NOC work at Tier 1 and Tier 2 levels – Advantage
