Facilities Maintenance Officer

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Equipment Related:

• Interprets equipment blueprints.
• Completes preventive maintenance requirements.
• Observes equipment in operation to troubleshoot problems andensure the proper functioning of the machines.
• Removes defective components and replaces them with new ones.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts for equipment.
• Assists Engineering with assembly and installation of newequipment
• Assists to ensure that equipment validation and calibration iscompleted on time.

Facility Related:

• Ensures all mechanical/electrical equipment supporting thefacility is maintained and functioning properly. b. Schedules any servicingthat is required by 3rd party to maintain facility requirements.
• Ensures all documentation and service reports are completed andgiven to document control.

Secondary Job Responsibilities:

• Maintenance Related:

Assists R&D and Engineeringwith experiments and validations

Minimum Education/Experience Required:

• 3 years' experience in a relevant role.

Additional Qualifications Required:

• Working knowledge of current industry practices, MPIs and cleanroom procedures.
• Conversant with Microsoft office software.
• Knowledge of Medical devices Quality Management System.
