About the position: Hôtel Mercure Ax Les Thermes is looking for a dynamic and motivated Front Office Manager to join its hotel team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for ensuring a warm, efficient, and professional welcome. You will supervise all reception operations, guaranteeing an exceptional guest experience while effectively managing administrative and operational tasks. You will play a key role in reservation management, coordination with other departments, and maintaining a welcoming and organized environment. Your leadership, sense of service, and ability to multitask will be essential to succeed in this position.

What you will do:

  • Warmly welcome guests in person or by phone, ensuring courteous and professional service
  • Supervise the reception team, ensuring their training and motivation to offer an optimal guest experience
  • Manage reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, while respecting the establishment's procedures (Opéra Cloud)
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs and quickly resolve any issues or special requests
  • Maintain rigorous management of multi-line telephone systems and ensure compliance with telephone etiquette rules
  • Monitor the reception budget, control expenses, and optimize resource utilization

Profile sought:

  • Previous experience in supervision or management of a reception or front desk in the hotel sector or similar
  • Mastery of customer service with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at once
  • Human resources management skills, including training, coaching, and motivating a team
  • Excellent multilingual or bilingual communication skills, with an aptitude for welcoming a diverse clientele
  • Natural leadership with a proactive and problem-solving attitude
  • Keen attention to detail, impeccable organization, and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment

This position is open to a CDD to cover a large part of the winter season, but we offer a CDI 39 hours.
