We, Mercer Deutschland, are looking for you to support our Transformation Team as:

Senior Consultant* / Project Lead* - Change Management Consulting at Mercer

What awaits you with us?

Mercer is committed to shaping the future boldly and intelligently – through the transformation of the working world, the improvement of pension and investment solutions, as well as a commitment to health and well-being. With nearly 25,000 employees in 43 countries, Mercer operates in 130 countries. This makes us one of the most internationally renowned yet simultaneously most personable People & Investment management consultancies, where diversity, equality, and social commitment are top priorities. At Mercer, we combine HR and organizational expertise with the latest concepts regarding New Work and digitalization. Do you want to work at the heart of these transformation processes and translate corporate goals into effective People strategies and concepts? Would you like to work with experienced colleagues from HR Strategy, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management and drive HR transformations forward? Is it important to you that HR & People topics are truly the focus, allowing us to help our clients through the unique combination of deep expert knowledge and a broad understanding of strategic contexts? And is it also important to you to shape topics independently, drive innovative ideas, and contribute to the further development of our company? Then let's talk about your possible start with us!

What characterizes the position with us?

  • Projects with a focus on Organizational Transformation, Change Management, and Culture
  • Working at the interface of strategy, specialist departments, and HR
  • Consulting and collaborating with our clients (from all industries, of all sizes, in Germany, Europe, and worldwide)
  • Creating successes for our clients through effective Strategy Execution and Change support for programs and projects
  • Step-by-step assumption of (sub-)project areas and responsibility for projects and teams
  • Active co-creation of Intellectual Capital at Mercer through your own ideas and impulses
  • Application of diverse methods and technologies (Scrum, SAFe, Design Thinking, visualization)
  • Continuous development through learning, responsibility, and openness to new things
  • Interface topics with other Mercer teams and practices (HR Transformation, Talent & People Strategies, Compensation & Benefits, Digital Consulting)
  • Fun at work and great colleagues in Germany, Europe, and the global Mercer organization
  • Great office culture that makes you want to come to the office; in a balanced combination with mobile working and workshops at the client's site

What you should bring with you?

  • You have successfully completed your studies and also possess professional experience in consulting with a focus on Organizational Transformation, Change Management, and Culture.
  • You have experience in the (sub-)project management of classical and agile projects. Your independent and structured way of working distinguishes you.
  • You have strong communication skills as well as a passion for People topics, bring a "can do" mentality, like to actively drive changes, and accompany clients strategically and conceptually.
  • You are curious, are familiar with current trends in HR and Change, and continuously further your education.
  • You are enthusiastic about transformation, change, and culture and possess a diverse toolkit of methods (Design Thinking, Scrum, etc.) to successfully manage your projects and accompany changes.
  • You are a team player, coach, and sparring partner for colleagues and clients, analytical, and strong in conception, communication, and presentation. Collaboration in international projects appeals to you, English is therefore no problem, and your heart beats faster for PowerPoint and Excel.

Six further reasons why you should apply:

  • Clear focus on HR projects (not an appendage of IT consulting or auditing) without restricted industry focus with a wide variety of clients – from startups to global corporations.
  • International collaboration through teams in, among others, London, Paris, Rome – we are represented everywhere!
  • Good balance between working from our modern and centrally located offices, at the client, or in the home office, and the possibility to design your working hours flexibly.
  • Individual development and career opportunities paired with targeted support through the early assumption of responsibility for projects with breadth and depth, as well as a sparring partner by your side.
  • Open and inclusive corporate culture characterized by a relaxed team atmosphere in combination with the stability and advantages of a large corporation (attractive compensation including a large range of benefits).
  • Likeable and collegial expert team in a secure and growing environment (as a team, by the way, we also regularly celebrate our shared successes, such as winning several HR Excellence Awards).
