Mechatronics Configuration Methodologist (M/F)

Also specializing in the assembly and painting of Unimog cabs as well as parts manufacturing, our Molsheim site embodies French expertise within the Daimler Truck group.
Integrated into the Molsheim teams and in relation with the group's configuration teams, you will contribute to technical feasibility studies and the implementation of specific requests for transformations carried out on the assembly line at our Wörth site in Germany.
Concretely, you will:
- Contribute to technical feasibility studies in connection with numerous departments in Wörth and Molsheim (Engineering Management, Technical Advisory and Project teams, production), study the technical constraints of projects, and propose solutions while ensuring compliance with regulatory constraints.
- Ensure the smooth running of orders, from prototype validation to technical documentation, while initiating orders for new or specific parts.
- Provide your expertise, as a true technical referent, regarding claims from workshops and customers, and contribute to making new vehicle variants known to the production sectors.
- Propose ideas for continuous improvement processes as well as for the development of your team's service offering.
This position requires regular travel to the Wörth site. Flexible hours and teleworking possible
You will find your place in this position if:
- You have a minimum of a Bac+2/Bac+3 degree in a mechanical/mechatronics field.
- You have solid experience in mechatronics / configuration / electronic architecture, and initial experience in the automotive industry sector is desired.
- Your excellent interpersonal skills allow you to collaborate with various departments and multicultural teams.
- You have a fluent level of German and an intermediate level of English to work on projects in an international context.
