Industrial Electrical Inspector (M/F)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will perform:
- daily travel, mainly in the Rhône-Alpes region (Lyon / Grenoble axis), involving a lot of driving
- occasional missions throughout France and occasionally internationally
- regular exchanges in English, both oral and written
- the writing of detailed technical reports after each inspection

THE MISSIONS
You will intervene directly at industrial equipment manufacturers in order to represent your clients' interests.
Your objective is simple: to verify that the equipment is compliant before shipment.
Perform technical inspections, specifically checking:
- LV and HV electrical cabinets
- electrical panels
- electrotechnical equipment
- etc.
You will participate in or assist with factory tests as well as various quality control phases.
Depending on the projects, you may intervene in functional tests, commissioning operations, or compliance verifications.
Verify technical documentation; to do this, you will analyze:
- electrical diagrams
- wiring diagrams
- manufacturer files
- test procedures
- client technical specifications.
You will identify any non-conformities and ensure their follow-up until resolution.
Write inspection reports: Each intervention results in a precise technical report. You will write clear, structured reports that are actionable by clients. Your ability to formalize your findings is an essential skill for this position.
REQUIRED PROFILE:
You have a background in electrotechnics, electrical engineering, automation, or industrial maintenance.
Profiles having worked for a manufacturer, an integrator, or a technical inspection body will be particularly appreciated.
You know how to read and interpret:
- electrical diagrams
- layout plans
- technical files
You quickly understand the functioning of industrial equipment and are able to detect an anomaly or a non-conformity.
You are comfortable in professional English and are able to:
- read technical documentation
- write reports or professional exchanges
- communicate with foreign manufacturers or clients
Oral and written English is indispensable.
This position does not consist solely of performing inspections. You will also need to produce precise, complete, and perfectly structured technical reports. Your documentary rigor is as important as your technical expertise.

- Remuneration: 30 to 40 K € gross depending on your experience
