Data Engineer (M/F)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will work closely with the Tech and Product teams to ensure that data is ingested, processed, and stored efficiently, securely, and reliably.

In particular, you will be required to:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Build architectures capable of ingesting and processing real-time and batch data streams at a very large scale.
• Evolve the Data Warehouse (Google BigQuery) as well as the Data Lake architecture.
• Optimize performance, costs, and the quality of data processing.
• Develop infrastructures intended for AI and LLM uses (embeddings, vector databases, agents, etc.).
• Implement quality controls, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to provide reliable, documented, and easily exploitable data.
• Participate in architectural choices and the continuous improvement of the platform.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

Essential experience and skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Big Data Engineering, or Data-oriented Software Engineering.
• Excellent mastery of SQL.
• Solid experience with Cloud Data Warehouses, ideally Google BigQuery.
• Very good mastery of Python.
• Experience with Big Data and Streaming architectures (Airflow, Kafka, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, etc.).
• Good knowledge of Cloud environments, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Practice with containerization and infrastructure tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or equivalent).
• A quality-oriented approach: testing, CI/CD, monitoring, documentation, and observability.
• Fluent professional English.

Preferred skills

• Experience in Adtech
• Experience or strong interest in AI infrastructures: Vertex AI, vector databases, embeddings, LLM pipelines, AI agents.
