Consultant / Project Manager - Location Intelligence (GIS) (M/F)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The sought-after Consultant / Project Manager must be able to lead projects from end to end, combining geomarketing/GIS expertise and project management.
Your mission is to transform geographic data into operational decisions. You will intervene across the entire project cycle: scoping → studies → configuration → integration → deployment → adoption.
Main Missions Consulting & geomarketing analyses - Perform site selection studies (catchment areas, potential, turnover estimation).
- Analyze network performance and competition, formulating actionable recommendations.
- Optimize sectorization and territorial division.
- Conduct advanced spatial analyses (cannibalization, attractiveness, predictive models, evolution scenarios).
Project Management - Scope business needs (retail, real estate, banking/insurance, public sector...).
- Write functional specifications and manage the project plan (schedule, budget, resources, governance).
- Guarantee the quality of deliverables (testing, acceptance, compliance, deadlines).
- Facilitate client workshops and coordinate internal teams (Product/R&D, Sales, Customer Success).
Solution configuration & deployment - Configure and customize the platform (layers, KPI, rules, rights, views).
- Design cartographic dashboards and ensure, if necessary, their integration into client tools (Salesforce, Power BI, SAP...).
- Supervise technical flows and integrations (connectors, PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases, Cloud environments such as BigQuery or Azure).
- Ensure evolutionary maintenance, expert support, and team guidance.
Data management & data culture - Identify and qualify relevant data sources (open data, INSEE, sectoral data, mobility, geographic references...).
- Arbitrate quality, granularity, costs, and compliance (GDPR, anonymization, traceability).
- Supervise data quality and integration (controls, normalization, geocoding, deduplication).
- Train and support users in reading and utilizing indicators.
Expected Deliverables - Scoping note, functional backlog, deployment plan.
- Actionable studies and cartographic recommendations.
- Configured instance (KPI, rules, dashboards, data integrations if necessary).
- Documentation and adoption materials (user guide, operating procedures).
REQUIRED PROFILE:
Education & Experience
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in geomatics / GIS / geomarketing or equivalent oriented towards data & spatial.
- 0 to 3 years of experience (significant work-study experience accepted).
- Evolvable position towards more management and consulting.
Technical Skills
- Mastery of a GIS tool (QGIS, ArcGIS, or MapInfo) and production of reliable cartographic analyses.
- Good command of SQL (ideally PostgreSQL/PostGIS) and Excel; data culture (quality, normalization, geocoding).
- Interest in the configuration and administration of a Location Intelligence platform.
- Understanding of business environments (Salesforce, SAP, Power BI) and notions of Cloud data (BigQuery, Azure) are appreciated.
- Professional English (documentation and international exchanges).

Environment & Conditions - Position based in Paris, with partial remote work possible.
- Key account clients (distribution, retail, public actors, international).
- Close collaboration with Product/R&D, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
- Occasional travel to client sites.
Remuneration: €40,000 to €50,000 gross annual (100% fixed), with profit-sharing.
