Sales Assistant

Mercanta Handels-Gesellschaft m.b.H., based in 4040 Linz, has been successfully specializing in the distribution of personal protective equipment for the oil and gas industry and firefighting equipment for around 50 years. The majority of our customers are located in the Mediterranean region. We source our products from various regions of the world, with a focus on the EU and USA.

Due to the continuously successful revenue development of our company as well as the planned expansion of our product portfolio, we are strengthening our team and are looking for 1 Sales Assistant Sales Back Office in international wholesale

Part-time (25-30 hours per week)

Your main tasks lie in supporting our Sales teams, mainly in the area of order and contract processing in the back office and correspondence with our customers. To this end, you will work with our modern ERP system Microsoft D365 BC to create, send, and manage purchase inquiries/orders, as well as in processing customer inquiries/orders and invoice creation. You will organize the goods logistics from the collection of goods to delivery to the customer and manage payments (inbound and outbound).

You bring with you:

• Commercial education (e.g., HBLA, HAK or similar qualification)

• Several years of professional experience with office activities in wholesale or similar

• Experience in working with ERP systems

(ideally Microsoft Navision or D365 Business Central)

• Good English skills (B2)

• Good MS-Office skills

• Independent way of working, accuracy, team orientation
