Purchasing Buyer

For Techmer, a subsidiary of MER Group, an experienced Purchasing Buyer is required. Techmer is a leading defense company specializing in the development and production of advanced solutions in the fields of communication and security. The job location is Or Yehuda. Job Objective: End-to-end management of the procurement process: orders, suppliers, material availability, and costs. Responsibilities: • Opening and leading purchase orders (PO) • Managing negotiations with suppliers (price, delivery times, terms) and sourcing new suppliers • Working with production control, warehouse, and engineering • Cost analysis and reduction. Mandatory Requirements: • 2-5 years of experience in industrial procurement • Experience working with ERP, advantage to Priority • High level of English (writing and speaking) • Proficiency in Excel. Advantages: • Experience in global procurement • Familiarity with import / shipping • Technical background - reading blueprints (BOM).
