Financial Planning & Analysis Manager - Scandinavia
This role is within the Continental Europe FP&A function but has a direct & close relationship with the VP Scandinavia & local commercial team in analysing & evaluating new business opportunities, preparation of investment proposals & concluding whether Scandinavia’s current assets and investments are the best use of resources.
This role also works with the Scandinavia Regional Finance Controller, examining and evaluating the cost-efficiency and revenue lines of each separate entity, planning and executing improvement measures.
Main accountabilities include:
- Managing the investment appraisal program & pricing proposals for Scandinavia region.
- Review and interpret performance for trends and variations (including KPIs) delivering meaningful, accurate and timely reporting & analysis which translate these in to actionable plans for communication to management and other commercial managers
- Providing consolidation and assistance in the planning & reporting processes for Scandinavia eg 3 Year Plan, Annual Budget & periodic forecasts.
- Delivering reviews and analysis of station performance understanding key drivers of variances on a monthly basis.
- Financial modelling of key financial data to identify efficiencies and benefits.
- Partnering with key stakeholders and assist with business objectives and projects.
- Assisting in market analysis and strategic plan for Scandinavia
- Providing project support for new business opportunities and projects including acquisition due diligence and business development.
- Carrying additional duties, including customer reporting & analysis, and supporting regional teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with relevant experience.
- Strong analytical skills and a proven track record of driving financial results and efficiencies.
- Strong communication skills & ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment.
- Organised and able to work to tight deadlines and to prioritise multiple simultaneous workloads.
- Ability to travel
Work conditions: Full time, 6 months probation
This role is based at Stockholm-Arlanda airport with the requirement of travel from time to time.
