Are you a professional in manufacturing industry supervision? We are looking for reinforcement for our welding department in Vöyri, where together with our skilled staff, you will be able to enable our strong growth. Come and join us in building the success story of a Finnish export company!

Supervisor

You will work in our welding department, which employs over 40 people, where you will initially take responsibility for the supervision of approximately 10-20 people. However, due to our growth, your team's headcount will increase. Work is done on the day shift on weekdays. We perform work planning with our new ERP system Monitor and workload management with Excel for the time being. You will report on your area of responsibility to our production manager, Jussi.

Your daily tasks will be:

Organizing and directing daily work within your area of responsibility

Ensuring sufficient resources and efficient allocation of resources

Ensuring production smoothness, efficiency, and safety

Monitoring and adhering to production targets and schedules

Continuous development of work quality and production processes

Onboarding, motivating, and supporting the development of personnel skills

Active cooperation with stakeholders

Daily reporting and use of the ERP system

We require suitable technical education (e.g., mechanical and metal engineering education) or equivalent expertise acquired through work experience. You must have previous experience in supervisory roles in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the machine shop industry. We value any expertise you may have in welding techniques and methods. You have good documentation and communication skills, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and standards. Our work community is multicultural, so we hope you can also function reasonably well in English.
