Optician wanted for Memira Ålesund – 100% permanent position Memira is now seeking an engaged and service-oriented optician for a 100% permanent position at our clinic in Ålesund. We are looking for you who has a strong professional commitment and who enjoys combining clinical work with customer service and counseling. At Memira, you will be part of a professional and multidisciplinary team consisting of ophthalmologists, nurses, opticians, and clinic staff. Together, we help patients achieve better vision through modern refractive surgery and lens treatments. The work will primarily take place at Memira Ålesund, but some travel to other Memira clinics in the region must be expected; approximately 20% of the position may be mobile.

Responsibilities As an optician at Memira, you will have a varied and exciting workday. Your main tasks will include:

• Conducting vision-related examinations, preliminary examinations, and follow-up checks in connection with refractive surgery and lens treatment
• Performing accurate refraction measurements and other clinical tests
• Providing counseling and follow-up for patients before and after surgery
• Participating on surgery days as a surgical optician
• Ensuring that the clinic's procedures and guidelines are followed
• Contributing to good teamwork and to the good and profitable operation of the clinic

Qualifications We are looking for you who:

• Is a publicly approved optician in Norway
• Has a genuine desire to give patients the best experience
• Performs accurate and reliable refractions
• Is outgoing, service-oriented, and professionally engaged
• Is positive, flexible, and structured
• Enjoys both independent work and teamwork
• Has good Norwegian and English skills, both written and oral
• Desires to further develop your professional competence
