DevOps and Platform Engineer

JOB MISSION

Design, implement, and operate the technological platform that supports the organization's applications and services through modern practices of automation, containerization, orchestration, and observability, to guarantee continuous, reliable deliveries and efficient operation

ACTIVITIES

• Administer and optimize VMware-based virtualization environments to guarantee infrastructure availability and efficiency
• Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters to support application deployment and operation
• Ensure infrastructure capacity, availability, and performance through continuous monitoring and optimization
• Implement GitOps practices through declarative management of infrastructure and applications to ensure traceability and operational consistency
• Design CI/CD pipelines in conjunction with development teams to enable continuous and reliable deliveries
• Automate deployments, configurations, and infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools to optimize technological operation
• Implement and administer monitoring, logging, and traceability solutions to guarantee service visibility
• Define metrics, SLIs, and SLOs to evaluate platform availability and performance
• Detect and resolve incidents using observability tools to ensure operational continuity
• Design fault-tolerant architectures to guarantee service continuity
• Participate in high availability and disaster recovery strategies to strengthen platform resilience

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree or Engineering in Systems, Development, Information Technologies, Computing, or related field
• 2 years or more in infrastructure administration, technological platforms, and operation of critical production environments
• 1 year or more in implementation and administration of Kubernetes and virtualization platforms (VMware or similar)
• Experience in implementation of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes, monitoring, and observability of technological platforms
• Experience in infrastructure automation through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
• Participation in telecommunications, streaming, or digital services companies (Desirable)
• Management of high demand, traffic, and concurrency environments (Desirable)
