The position:

As part of a strategic innovation program, our Digital Innovation team is looking for an AI/ML/LLM engineer passionate about AI agents, intelligent workflows, and concrete applications of artificial intelligence in the life sciences industry. Here, the goal is not to produce slides or theoretical concepts: we are looking for a profile capable of rapidly transforming ideas into functional, testable, and demonstrable prototypes.

You will contribute to the exploration and development of innovative AI solutions capable of transforming unit operations and process development in biopharma.

Your role will consist of imagining, designing, and testing AI demonstrators around:

• intelligent analysis of customer feedback and market trends,
• identification of innovation opportunities,
• assistance to bioprocess unit operations,
• insight generation,
• agentic workflows and intelligent assistants.

You will work on concrete subjects, with strong technical freedom and an approach oriented toward rapid experimentation. What you will do:

• Explore and challenge AI use cases
• Collaborate with business experts, architects, developers, and product owners to identify high-impact use cases.
• Study market solutions and emerging technologies.
• Evaluate technical feasibility and integration into the existing ecosystem.
• Design AI agents and innovative prototypes
• Develop intelligent workflows driven by LLM.
• Design targeted AI demonstrators oriented toward business value.
• Build lightweight, flexible, and rapidly deployable architectures.
• Integrate approved APIs and tools within a secure environment.
• Implement robust and understandable prompting strategies.
• Experiment, test, and improve
• Define simple but effective approaches for prototype evaluation.
• Organize demonstrations and validation sessions with business teams.
• Identify limitations, areas for improvement, and future opportunities.
• Share and grow the AI ecosystem
• Document your work to allow for reuse.
• Participate in the dissemination of AI best practices.

Technical expertise:

• Solid experience in AI/ML/LLM.
• Concrete experience with AI agents and LLM orchestrations.
• Very good software development and rapid prototyping skills.
• Mastery of enterprise LLM APIs and managed platforms.
• Good understanding of modern software architectures.
• Experience in evaluating AI solutions is appreciated.
