Data Center Facility Manager

The Facility Manager is the professional lead driving the daily operation of the data center and serves as the central interface between operational teams and the project, security, and communications departments within the organization. The role combines people management, vendor management, professional technical responsibility, and a broad operational vision, and is intended for someone seeking a managerial challenge in a critical, dynamic environment with an impact on service continuity and facility reliability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for facility operation and coordinating facility activities with other departments (projects, security, communications).
• Responsibility for operational continuity.
• Identification, detection, and isolation of faults.
• Managing upgrade and change projects in the facility in parallel with horizontal support for the operations department.
• Maintenance plan for the facility.
• Responsibility for SLA towards customers - including familiarity with contracts.
• Vendor management and management of subcontractors.
• Responsibility for specific facility maintenance contracts.
• Generating facility reports for the Operations Manager and customers.
• Risk management for the facility.
• Access control, including laptops for access control.
• On-call availability for site arrival to resolve problems.
• Recruitment and training of employees as needed.
• 5-10 years of experience in managing critical facilities.
• Education as an Electrical Engineer, HVAC Engineer, or Technician with experience in managing data centers.
• Previous experience in managing employees and subcontractors.
• Ability to work in a complex work environment, under pressure, and working with many interfaces.
• Proven knowledge and experience in operating critical systems.
• At least a valid Certified Electrician license.
• Good level of technical English.
