Infrastructure Executive

Your tasks

• Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, MSC Asia Regional Office
• Focusing primarily on Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations and project implementation

• Documentation and Knowledge-Base recording
• Troubleshooting and providing solutions; seeking appropriate resource and assistance where required

• Perform ready-for-business pre-checks before official business hours
• Ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned by the Information Systems Director

Operational & Project Experience

• Daily IT operations & project rollout
• Troubleshooting & documentation

• Regional, multi-domain environment exposure
• ITSM (ServiceNow), audits, ISO compliance

Requirements

Pre-requisites

• Diploma/Degree in Computing, IT or equivalent qualifications.
• Certifications (e.g. MCSE, CCNA, etc) are an added advantage.

• At least 3 years of experience in relevant field is preferred.
• Demonstrate excellent written and spoken communication skills, and be bilingual.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
• A collaborative team player with drive, initiative, and a results‑oriented mindset, complemented by excellent interpersonal skills.

• An enthusiasm for learning about current and new technologies.
• Proven ability to resolve a high number of incidents and work well under pressure.

Candidates should possess knowledge of, and experience in, the following skills:

Cloud & Systems

• Microsoft Azure, Windows Server 2019 and above, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Office 365
• Server admin, HA/DRP (SQL Always On, Failover Clusters, SRM/ASR)

• SAN, Zoning, LUN, MPIO management

Virtualization & Deployment

• VMware, Hyper-V, Virtual Networks
• WSUS, Intune deployment

Networking & Security

• IP protocols: ICMP, TCP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, VLAN
• Routing/switching: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, HSRP/VRRP

• Firewalls: Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba; VPN
• DNS filtering, antivirus, IPS/IDS, threat protection

• Proxy technologies; interpreting security logs; SingCERT familiarity

Collaboration & Access

• SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams
• Exchange Online

• Citrix Workspace, RDS

Other

• Willing to be on standby for emergency response and to support after‑hours maintenance work when required.
