COMPETITION

Project associate- researcher (m/f) for the project ''A Biomarker- Based Platform for Early Diagnosis of Chronic Liver Disease to Enable Personalized Therapy- LIVERAIM''. The employment is based on a fixed-term contract with full-time work until the end of the project duration, i.e., until 28.02.2030, subject to a probationary period of six (6) months. - one (1) executor.

Competition requirements:

• completed integrated undergraduate and graduate university study of medicine; doctor of medicine without specialization;
• mandatory computer skills (MS Office);
• active knowledge of the English language in speaking and writing.

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

• experience participating in scientific-research work (attach confirmation from the manager);
• experience writing in scientific publications (attach works);
• experience participating in other forms of extracurricular activities.

Along with the hand-signed application for the competition (request), the following must be attached:

• a motivation letter showing which goals the candidate wishes to achieve in their personal development through engagement in this project, and in what way;
• curriculum vitae;
• a copy of the residence permit (domovnica) or an extract from the e-građani application;
• HZMO certificate of employment history (not older than three months);
• copies of relevant diplomas and certificates;
• a criminal record certificate (not older than one month);
• proof of completed courses and training if possessed (foreign languages, digital skills, additional micro-qualifications, etc.).

Other notes

An applicant who exercises the right of preference in employment according to special regulations is obliged, along with the application, to submit documentation according to the law regulating the rights of Croatian veterans of the Homeland War and their family members, or to invoke that right according to other regulations, and has preference over other applicants only under equal conditions.

Untimely, incomplete, and hand-unsigned applications, as well as applications without attached copies and requested documentation, will not be considered.

Persons of both sexes may apply for the competition.

An interview and, if necessary, testing will be conducted for the applicants.

Copies of the attached documentation remain in the archive of the Faculty of Medicine and are not returned to the applicants.

Method and deadline for application

Applications with the accompanying documentation are submitted by e-mail, within 8 days of the publication of the competition in »Narodne novine«, to the address: kadrovska@mef.hr.

In the subject of the e-mail, it is necessary to state: ‘’Prijava na natječaj – Suradnik na projektu- istraživač”

Documentation is submitted as an e-mail attachment in PDF and/or Word format.

The decision on the selection of the candidate will be published on the website of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb.
