Account Manager (m/f/d) - Corporate & Fortune 500 Customers
To support our Account Management team, we are looking for a team-oriented and committed personality with professional experience to start immediately. We are looking for someone who thinks actively, contributes their own ideas, and helps us develop and improve solutions to combat the number one cause of death – sudden cardiac death.
We are a medium-sized company in the medical technology sector based in Bochum, offering our customers in Germany as well as numerous global and Fortune 500 customers worldwide innovative life-saving solutions from the world market leader PHILIPS.
Tasks
Support and development of Corporate and Fortune 500 customers (mainly English-speaking) to ensure long-term partnerships and high customer satisfaction.
Main point of contact for key customers, including program monitoring, handling inquiries, escalations, and strategic discussions.
Identification of new business opportunities within existing customer relationships as well as implementation of up- and cross-selling strategies.
Analysis of customer needs and development of tailored solutions to maximize customer success.
Close cooperation with internal teams (Sales, Product Management, Customer Service) to ensure smooth support and excellent service.
Creation of reports and analyses regarding customer performance, contract management, and revenue development.
Continuous market monitoring, analysis of competitor activities, and adaptation of strategy to current customer requirements.
Requirements
Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration (or comparable) or several years of experience in Account Management, ideally with large accounts or corporate customers.
Proven ability to build strong and long-term relationships with decision-makers at various levels.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer challenges.
Quick comprehension and the ability to familiarize yourself with new systems and tools.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Fluent English skills (C1/C2) are essential; further language skills (e.g., German or French) are an advantage.
Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours to support customers in other time zones.
Proficient use of MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint).
